Salinization is a key soil degradation process. An estimated 20% of total cultivated lands and 33% irrigated agricultural worldwide are affected by high salinity. Much research has investigated the influence salt (mainly NaCl) on plants, but very little known about how this related to natural salinity osmotic stress. Therefore, our study was conducted determine ionic stress responses selected C3 C4 plants.
